Ashley was born April 19, 1968 in Southern California. She moved to Kentucky at the age of 2 when her mother left her father and returned home. She attended the University of Kentucky and is known as a big Kentucky basketball fan, frequenting games and often sitting in the student section. She left school prior to graduation, but ultimately received her degree in 2007.
